Hey again, Longmont Sustainability lovers! I will be traveling through much of July, and I didn’t want to stress about setting up an event. So I’ve decided to wait until August to set up the next one. I’ll send out an event email as soon as I coordinate with a speaker.

As part of my job at Exact Solar, I dig through 10-20 different news sources each week to figure out what’s relevant to us as a solar installer. Before, I’d create a brief for our team each week.
We decided to share that with the world, rather than keep it internal.
So now, I spend every Thursday morning combing through news sources, writing a newsletter, and filming a video that we send out each Friday morning.
It’s become my favorite part of my work week! I’m having a ton of fun, and we’re planning to expand it into a podcast alongside the news roundup if we see enough engagement.
Since many of our Longmont-based speakers are leaders in the space, I’m hoping to book them as guests once we get that going!
