TL;DR:
This is a classic white elephant with the twist that you cannot spend any money on your gift.
If you’re like “say no more,” RSVP here:
If you need more details, read on!
Here's what you need to know to participate:
Each person must bring one wrapped gift to exchange (wrap it in old newspaper or a gift bag if you don't have wrapping paper, don't stress), and there is only one rule:
You cannot spend any money to acquire your gift.
That’s it.
So wrap up that tent you've told yourself you'll use for the last decade.
Reach into that storage cupboard you’ve been terrified of touching for years and pull out that antique jello dish.
Push in the wheelbarrow full of rubber chickens that your Aunt left you in her will.
Brush the pizza boxes and deceased rodents off of your hoarder pile in the garage, blindly reaching in up to your elbows, kill the moths on the first thing you grab, and bring it.
Conduct another Louvre heist and snag a few jewels.
As long as you don’t spend any money on it, bring anything you want to bring, as long as it's wrapped. Big or small, valuable or worthless.
I’m capping this at thirty people (not counting Keely and I) so it doesn’t feel chaotic. Snag your spot now!
P.S.
Bring a snack, drink, or dish to share.
Excited to see you there!
