Hello everyone! If you’re reading this, you’ve come to one of our first two Green Drinks/speaker events and signed up to receive emails (or shown enough interest that I’ve added you to this list myself).

Thank you for helping make the last two so fun and awesome. Over 30 people showed up each time to hear presentations from Byron Kominek and Azuraye Wycoff.
Because there seems to be so much interest, we're going to keep finding interesting people doing sustainability-related things in our community and giving them a place to speak!
Our speaker for the next one is Elliot Freeman from Independant Power Systems.
Here’s the meetup link for the third one. If you plan to come, please RSVP here so it’s on your calendar and I have an idea of how many people are coming:
I’m really enjoying watching this little community grow 🙂
Here are the details for Green Drinks III:
When: April 21st from 6:30-8:30 PM
Where: MMMHQ at 712 Main Street, Longmont CO, 80501
What: A chance for anyone interested in sustainability or working in climate to meet and hear a presentation about an interesting local project
Who: Anyone interested in sustainability, including Greentech founders, backyard DIY solar nerds, sustainable agriculture enthusiasts, etc is welcome to join
Schedule:
6:30-7: Settling in and networking
7-7:30: Elliot Freeman will give a short presentation about Independant Power Systems, one of Colorado's oldest solar installers that started installing awesome off-grid mountain solar energy systems way back in 1996
7:30-8:30: Networking and winding down
Note:
MMMHQ is a co-working space, not a bar. We’ll have a limited amount of beer and wine for attendees, but anything you can bring and share will be appreciated, whether it's a snack or drink!
About Our Next Speaker:

Elliot Freeman is the Vice President of Business Operations at Independent Power, Boulder County's oldest solar installer. Independent Power is the only Boulder & Denver area company that installs solar + batteries + heat pumps + electrical upgrades.
Elliot made the switch to working in climate change from years in the food industry because he felt like he had to. Elliot was previously the Chief Marketing Officer at Skratch Labs, an athlete nutrition company, with other career stops in packaged goods, branding, and finance.
He has an MBA from Kellogg Northwestern, a BA from Tufts, and lives in Boulder with his wife, dog, chickens, bikes, drum set, and woodworking tools.
